Volunteer With Us

Due to the pandemic, many underprivileged kids in the South LA community are unable to have good internet access and learning resources to aid in their educational success. We are currently seeking volunteers who would be willing to donate their time at the M.E.N.T.O.R.S. community center, supervising and providing light homework help for kids using our socially-distanced computer lab and after-school center (which is more of a during-school center in these times!)

Donate To Help M.E.N.T.O.R.S.

In addition to accepting cash donations, we greatly appreciate and accept donations of clothes, food, and other goods that go towards our community and reentry programs. We are currently in need of and accepting donations of:

Clothes:

M.E.N.T.O.R.S. is currently in need of baby clothes, as we have new mothers at our facility for pregnant women and children. As always, we also accept lightly used clothes as always for our free community closet and Free Fashion Friday events.

Food:

We accept donations of unopened food products of all kinds, as we operate a community fridge and pantry for unhoused and hungry neighbors at our community center located at 10200 E. Main Street.

Baby Goods:

Our new mothers at the Flower House facility are currently in need of cribs, bassinets, baby toys and clothes, and other lightly used baby products. We also accept donations of diapers.
