Our MENTORS Community Centers are designed to be all-in-one drop-in resource centers that cater to the needs of the local community including our reentry clients.   • Baby Alive Program

    All families deserve happy and healthy births, but unfortunately, there are worrying disparities in black infant and maternal health in Los Angeles. M.E.N.T.O.R.S., Inc. is overjoyed to be part of the inaugural Village Fund program, where we have partnered with 7 other black-led community organizations to support African American parents and babies across Los Angeles. At the Community Center, M.E.N.T.O.R.S. is facilitating a baby goods and diaper bank, support groups for young mothers and fathers, and providing day care vouchers in what we are calling the Baby Alive Program.   • Community Shower

    M.E.N.T.O.R.S., Inc. Community Center now has a Community Shower! We operate a shower for unhoused neighbors complete with all hygiene products and towels, also accompanied by food and clothes if they need.

  • Youth Seminars for teens

    M.E.N.T.O.R.S., Inc. is hosting Youth Seminars for teens! On June 12th and 19th, teen girls and teen boys will be invited for a day of collaboration, life skills training, and support as they reenter from Covid-19 isolation and prepare for adulthood. Group activities, inspirational speakers, and more! June 12 for ladies and June 19 for gentlemen.

  • M.E.N.T.O.R.S, Inc. Barbershop

    Need to look good for a job interview, or to just freshen things up? Come to the M.E.N.T.O.R.S., Inc. Community Center on Mondays and Fridays and receive a FREE haircut! No strings attached, just sign-in at the Community Center!
